Mmmmmmm....Grandpa took us to Five Guys to get yummy burgers for lunch. He had never been there and you know, there's never been a hamburger he doesn't like! The burgers are great although we did have to do a comparison with Hires. And the winner is.....
Hires! I miss their Bacon Roquefort burger. It's the best. And Grandma misses the lime-aid.

Those closeup pictures of eating hamburgers are causing some serious hunger pains for Hires hamburgers. I may have to pay a visit today.

ReplyDeleteThey just opened a 5 Guys right by our house here in Utah. It's pretty good. Now I'm craving a hamburger too!
ReplyDeleteWe have been to that 5 Guys they opened up in Fort Union. We liked their burgers...a pretty close competition to Hires.

ReplyDeleteIt started as a family hamburger joint in the Baltimore area and DC. The past several years they ahve been aggressively expanding franchises. Some people think it's weird that the sole Utah franchise is at Family Center at Ft. Union. I like the burgers, but I thought their attempt to energize the atmosphere was a little over the top and kookoo.
