Dallin beat his own personal record in the 1600 (1 mile) Saturday! He fought hard and placed third with a time of 4:51. He looked awesome and just keeps improving with each race. He thought he was disqualified because he pushed a racer out of his lane that was cutting him off at the finish. It was an intense finish and fun to watch. We're proud of Dallin's accomplishments. His hard work is paying off.
I am so glad I get to say , "Way to Go Dallin!"

ReplyDeleteUnbelievable... seriously, that's cruising, and good job with 3rd. It's only going to get better.!
ReplyDeleteThat is great, Dallin. I even used you in one of my classes on Monday during my famous 4th quarter speech. We were talking about how our culture is sometimes so obsessed with winning that logically it seems like in a field of 50 runners, maybe 49 of them should just stay home--what's the point if you can't win. But you're proving that the sport isn't about winning, it's about running YOUR race, your best, using the competition of the meet as your way to prove yourself. And that makes you a winner!
