Landon had the privilege of attending Honor chorus the last weekend in October. He went on Friday to Athens, Ga and worked hard. They stay the night and practice on Saturday as well. We were able to attend a concert on Saturday afternoon to enjoy a performance to show off all their hard work. It was a great event with some pretty darn good choral performances.! Dallin and Landon tried out for All State earlier in the month. It is a very rigorous audition that requires site reading, solo singing of assigned songs, etc. It's tough. Both boys found out last week that they both made it! They will be heading to Savannah, GA in February to spend a weekend with some awesome conductors learning more about choral singing. We'll enjoy a concert and a little trip to Savannah. We look forward to an awesome weekend.
Congrats to the singers of the Carroll family! I can't believe how well they have all done with singing,, well, I can believe it,, but it's just so awesome to see they got all their talent from me!! ha ha. They come from musical families that's for sure. I'm glad Landon had the courage to try something new in High School. Let's see if Easton picks up the singing bug,,
