Last one

This is the last one...all of my children will recognize this, as it is part of all of their childhoods, the last sippy cup.  As I placed this in the cupboard while unloading the dishwasher I couldn't help but think of all the memories attached to this little plastic cup.  Each one of my children's lips have taken drinks from it.  The need for the sippy cup lid attachment has long passed but the kids still go to this cup for a quick swig.  It's just the right size for a sip of water, milk, or juice.  I'm amazed that it is still being used when there are so many other more "mature" cups to choose from.  There used to be little hands with little fingers wrapped around the base of the cup, holding on as tightly and as carefully as they could.  Taking little sips and leaving little drips along the way...oh the memories of those sweet little children.  This cup, these memories are going on the top shelf in the cupboard, a safe place to store those little sips, drips and smiles of the past that will never be forgotten.
