The boys and Stephen had the traditional Fathers and Sons Outing over the weekend. Easton was so excited and didn't want to go to school Friday so that he could pack. (He's always looking for an excuse to get out of school--it's sooooo boring!) When Stephen got home from work the car was loaded and off they went. They were heading up to Lake Lanier to meet the ward. When they got to the campsite that they always go to another ward was there. Stephen soon discovered that they were at the wrong campsite. Well, the story goes that the boys decided that since it was already late and it would be later by the time they arrived at the real campsite andit would be dark and time to go to bed. Soooo, they decided to go to the movies instead. They went and saw Ironman and loved it. They boys came home around 10:30 telling me that this was the best campout they have ever had. mmmmmmm
Ashton and I went out to dinner for Mother and Daughter outing. We rented a couple of movies and were not real happy to see the crew coming home early. I enjoy my boyfree weekend once a year. We saw August Rush. It was entertaining, not a fabulous movie.

ReplyDeleteI heard Iron Man was a great movie. To bad however they came home early and your mother daughter night was cut short. I enjoy getting a girls night (and morning) every year when the boys go camping. We really had fun last year when Keith and McCoy went to New York. Of course we missed them and couldn't wait to see them. But we had a good time.
