The Graduate

It's official--I am the Mother of a high school graduate. Doesn't that just sound weird?!? Last Saturday evening Ashton walked and received her high school diploma. It was a fun evening watching her enjoy the moment. She looked so mature in the new outfit she picked out to wear. The black cap and gown looked very official. Her choir sang three separate numbers during the program and she was right in the front singing and enjoying every moment of it. I think she will miss singing in choir the most out of high school. She had a great four years and loved high school! We look forward to watching her in the future and seeing what great things she will accomplish. Good luck at BYU--we love you!

  1. Cute pictures!! Love the 'so mature' outfit that she picked out. Yes, it's weird that Ashty is now done with that long 12 years of schooling. onto College for approx 4 more years. The pictures look great! Did ya cry? Did she cry?

  2. Congrats! You are on your way to new adventures and experiences with lots of interesting roommates, professors, and "mature????" returned missionaries who are sure "YOU ARE THE ANSWER TO MY PRAYERS!" Have fun and don't take yourself and others too seriously!

  3. We are proud. Is there a significance with the white cording?? or is it just graduation jewelery? You look beautiful and I like your outfit. You look like a real graduate.

  6. Ashton said she loved monster, Gretchen. You were her favorite aunt for so long because you played monster.
