Cougars and Dawgs

Opening day of college football was a party in the Carroll house.  The Georgia Bulldogs were playing Clemson and the Cougars were playing Virginia.  I've never really been a Dawgs fan but this year I decided that I would choose to join the dawgs.  I surprised everyone with new Georgia shirts to wear during the game, even ME!  After living in Georgia for almost seventeen years I figured it was about time.  If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!

We had our own little "tailgate" party in our own home complete with party dips and hot wings(and they were hot!), candy and dip n' dots ice cream.  It was a serious party!
I tried a new root beer without the high fructose corn syrup junk that's not good for you.  We decided that it tasted OK but the flavor was a little weak, not a lot of pizazz!
Nothing like watching football while eating buffalo wings.
The BYU game started first and then experienced a two hour lightning delay of game.  When it finally came back on the TV station had to broadcast on a different station and the only way we could pick that up was streaming it through Landon's laptop.  We ended up watching the Georgia game and the BYU game on the laptop at the same time.  Both games kind of came down to the wire and in both games our teams lost.  A sad ending to a great start.  It was fun routing for the cougars and the dogs.  Let's hope both of our teams have a better showing next week!
