Christmas in July

Last Sunday for our Sunday dinner we enjoyed a little Christmas in July celebration. It was awesome. We decided that we wanted egg casserole and all that goes with it. So we did. The table was set with the Christmas china and red tablecloth, green napkins and festive holiday candles. The kids dressed in red or green. Ashton played Christmas music on the piano and we all laughed as we sat down to eat. Stephen said, "Welcome to Christmas brunch." Our meal consisted of Egg casserole, grapefruit, muffins, ham and juice. It was so yummy!!!! The kids loved it and definitely want to start this as a new July tradition.

  1. What in the world inspired this little event?? It's kinda random don't cha think? But it was fun to see your dishes out,,, you know they only get used like 4 times in December. And you have a huge set and I only have 3 china dishes from my wedding,,,but now i have a full set thanks to Grandma James. So, you inspired us, and Mom is going to teach Gretchen and I how to make Egg Casserole ,,, since I've NEVER made it, Duh. This year will be my first for sure since we're having Christmas in Denver... How fun!!
