A Missionary Returns

My nephew, Ethan Carroll recently returned from his two year mission to Pocatello, Idaho.  He spoke in our Sacrament meeting where the spirit of missionary work was truly felt.  He bore testimony and shared experiences of how sharing the gospel with the people of Idaho truly changed people's lives.  Ethan did an amazing job speaking and it was truly obvious that he had matured while serving the Lord and definitely has grown.  We are so proud of him!
We visited with family at an open house in Ethan's honor at his home.  Shelby and Jenna are chatting with Mama.

Collin and Jacob hanging out with the treats!
Shelby, my niece came over earlier in the week so I could help her create a cover for the amazing scrapbook she had put together for her brother.  She printed all of Ethan's letters, placed them in sheet protectors and added some scrapbook pages with photos from his mission.
We worked hard trying to use an old suit jacket, white shirt, and tie and turn it into a really cool cover.  I'm pretty impressed with the finished product.  Shelby used her artistic ability to create a beautiful keepsake for her brother that he will cherish in the years to come.
