Fall

When it's Fall time the weathered leaves
fall from branches off the trees.
Whirly, twirly, whirly, twirly in the air,
whirly, twirly, whirly, twirly everywhere!

Hey family--remember that song? It always comes to mind when we are crunching through newly fallen leaves. Yesterday Easton and I had our fall moment. He loves making piles of leaves and then rolling, jumping, tumbling and throwing! Before the huge pile was destroyed by the beastly lawn mower we played. Oh what fun! We laughed and giggled the whole time.

  1. What fun times and fun memories you are creating for the kids. I used to love the oak leaves in the front yard. They were big and crunch and generally not wet. I hated the cold wet leaves.

  2. We only have one tree in the yard that really puts down leaves. It is not enough to have fun like Easton was having.

  3. Fun times indeed, we don't get leaves like that either. They rake the few we have and jump in the pile but it is pretty pathetic.

  5. You could all go to a park and rake up a pile. I loved it when the kids came to our home and we used the oak leaaves. Now that was a big pile.
